This is a collection of thirty-seven songs from the Indonesian rock band General Front's first album. The songs are divided into six categories: pop, rock, funk, country, folk and blues. Among the notable artists who performed these songs are Billy Cobham and Alice Cooper as well as other musicians from various countries such as India and Jamaica. Some of these songs have been remixed with General Front's new sound which is reminiscent of Asian-Euro pop mixed with modern day instrumentation. The album has a mixture of genres to appeal to a wide audience although the band would primarily like to target their homeland Indonesia for inspiration in order to give back to society through their music. The album was released on 24 May 2009. General Front had previously recorded another album of songs for the album called "Sukacita", which was an Indonesian version of their English-language hit single "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now", which included new lyrics in Indonesian language. The release was planned to be in 2007, but never got released due to different legal issues with the original song producer, DJ Premier. It is unknown whether or not this new album will have any of the songs from "Sukacita" on it.General Front was formed in Jakarta in 2003, when they won an MTV Eurovision contest with the song "Iklan". They released their first album called "Sehati" (meaning "sound mind") in 2004. The band used to be named Broiler Broiler because of their experimental music style. Currently, General Front has three vocalists, one drummer, one guitarist and two keyboardists, who are all active in the band's songwriting process. General Front's first tour was in 2004 at the MTV Woodstock Festival in Jakarta. In 2005 they moved to the United States to have a better career as an international band by opening for acts such as Michael Learns To Rock, Billy Cobham and Eric Clapton. https://openjazzrecords. com/product/general-front-i-will-follow-him General Front's first album "Sehati" was released on October 14, 2004. This is the Indonesian version of the English language song of the same name. There are only three songs that are available in its Indonesian version, which are all about love. Several more hit singles followed later on including "Aku Mencintaimu", "Mimpikiranmu" and finally the song titled "Iklan". The Indonesian version of Iklan was later released as a single on iTunes, along with some additional remixes of the song. "Iklan" was a hit in Indonesia, but the Indonesian version of the song has a different melody and a different chorus to the English version. It's rumoured that this is because Broiler Broiler wanted to "succeed" in Indonesia, having been made fun of for being too much influenced by Western Rock music by Indonesian bands such as Gaya. In February 2006, Broiler Broiler met up with DJ Premo from The Beatnuts at a breakfast table during Premo's stay at Jakarta airport. Premo had been making songs for his new group D-Low & D-Low & The Dirty Family. cfa1e77820
