I have a kernel mode driver and I have to install t on 64 bit Windows 7. It needs to be digitally signed. I digitally signed it using the dseo13b.exe. But when I load the driver I get an error in the system event log saying:
Dseo13b Exe Windows 7 12
3.To distribute the driver you need this certificate to be traceable, Microsoft uses a system called Trusted Root Certification Authority. Now there are other authorities that gives certificate beside these but they will need windows update to verify those. type certmgr.msc to get the list. And look for the ones with code signing permission
I have been trying to disable driver signing for a few days now and cannot find a tutorial that will work. I have tried both the directions provided here as well as trying to use the dseo13b.exe. Neither have worked. When using the command line way I receive the error; "The boot configuration data store could not be opened. The requested system device cannot be found".
Following a suggestion from Mike Hughes, I tried setting CPUaffinity for the NTPD process on the Vista PC, Gemini, to just a single CPU. I happened to choose CPU 1. It seems to have helped Mike get bettertimekeeping. Mike may force CPU on the ntpd.exe with the ImgeCfg.exeprogram, if the improvement continues. However, it didn't seem to help mea lot, so I tried stopping ntp service, marking the image uni-processor only, and CPU-affinity 0x1 (i.e. CPU 0), and restarted. See: windowsitpro.comarticle and andbrinkster.com article about using imagecfg.exe.

I bought a new flashcart, but i cant get it to work properly. the flash cartridge in-question is a GB USB smart card 64m, and the tutorials online show it all for windows 7, but i run a windows 10 64bit pc. I did the method where you rebooted the computer numerous times, while signing the drivers, but when i went to install it, It said the "EMS inter-link cable" driver was third party, and wasnt signed, even though i signed all the drivers. can anyone help me on this?
How do you solved it? I am running Windows 10 Home and i tried to install modded drivers (EMSLink_v3.1.0.2010_modded) with dseo13b.exe, card is now recognisable with EMS Inter-link cable driver but on W10 i cannot install it if INF file does not contain digital signature information. 2ff7e9595c
